Once I place my order, how long will it take for my app to be ready?
Usually about 6-8 weeks. Roughly 4 of these weeks will be used for approvals from Apple.

Is this a lot of work?
Nope. We'll set up everything for you. Make no changes and your social media feeds, together with our content, will keep users coming back to the app. Or be active and add new feedback forms and polls as often as you wish.

Where and when can users access the app?
Users can access the app in five places...
(1) iPhone, (2) iPad, (3) any computer, (4) Blackberry and (5) Android devices.

How can I promote my app?
All of our customers receive a free custom promotional package of online and print ads.

Is there any cost to my users to download the app?
No, the app is free to download by your users. Payment for the app is made by the sponsor as an annual subscription.

Will you support more mobile devices?
Yes. As more devices become mainstream, we'll support these platforms.

Are there any limits for sharing the app?
No. We encourage you to share the app with everyone (all alumni, employees, members, friends, friends' cats, etc).

How can I make changes to my app?
As a subscriber, you'll have access to a password protected admin site ("Dashboard"). It's very simple.

Where do I retrieve my feedback from my users?
This data will be accessible to you in your Dashboard as an Excel file.

Will I be able to see any user statistics?
Yes, you'll have data on unique downlaods and total visits of your app in your Dashboard.

How can I market my app?
As a subscriber, we'll provide you with tools, artwork, and some "best practices" learned from some of our current customers.

Are the topics designed for young graduates or for all ages?
We've rewritten our app content (August 2010) to be applicable for all ages. New topics designed for an older demographic are coming soon.

Are there any costs for updates or support?
No. All updates and support are free (and we're fanatical about support).

Can I see the app before I purchase it?
Yes. Search an app store for "crib sheet" or type "mycribsheet.com/msu" into any mobile or desktop browser.

My institution already has an app. Why should I consider crib sheet?
We encourage you to read our blog post about niche apps.

Are these "native" apps?
Yes. Each app is designed for the device it runs on.

What are Features?
These app-specific items are interspersed in your news feed and stay visible as updates are added to the feed. Features include feedback forms, polls, external links, photos, YouTube videos, or links to email.

What are Resources?
Resources are ads that users might actually care about. We'll include one Resource that's relevant per topic (e.g., GEICO in the Auto Insurance topic). These appear at the very bottom of the topic text and on the Resource tab. Learn more.

Must my app include Resources?
No. Resources are optional, but an app with Resources will have a lower annual subscription rate. If you choose Resources, you will have the option to pick and choose which specific Resources you'd like to include in your app.

Can users turn on/off feeds?
Yes. On mobile devices, users can turn on and off social media feeds to create personalized feeds. But, Features (feedback forms, polls, etc) always remain on.

Can I name my app?
Yes. We only ask that you include the words "crib sheet" in your name.
