Where can graduates access the app? Graduates can get the app on any computer (Desktop App) or download it from the Apple App Store (iPhone or iPod touch).
Will you support more smartphones? Yes. We plan to add Blackberry and Google-powered (Android) phones by mid-2010. Additional devices, like Apple's new iPad, are also being considered.
Will everyone get their own password? A sponsor will distribute just one user password to grads. For example, Cow College (sponsor) may choose the password "Moo."
Who can use my user password? The cost of your subscription rate is based on your class size (annual number of graduates or new hires), but you can share your password with anyone directly affiliated with the sponsor. For example:
University alumni office
> Your subscription rate is based on the number annual graduates of the entire university.
> And as a bonus, share your password with all alumni and students of the university.
College of Agriculture > Your subscription rate is based on the number of annual graduates of the college (not the entire university).
> And as a bonus, share your password with all alumni and students of the college (not the entire university).
Corporate HR
> Your subscription rate is based on the number of annual new hires for the entire company.
> And as a bonus, share your password with all employees, alumni, and prospects of the company.
Local HR office
> Your subscription rate is based on the number of annual new hires of the local office (not the entire company).
> And as a bonus, share your password with all employees and alumni of the local office (not the entire company).
Affinity partner
> If offering our smartphone app to
students of partner schools, your subscription rate is based on the number of annual graduates for each university (priced separately).
Note
> You cannot advertise your password in a place that can be seen by the general public. For example, Cow College Monthly is okay, but the Charlotte Observer is not. Cap & Compass reserves the right cancel your subscription if not in compliance with these terms. If you're not sure, please contact us.
What is the best way to share my password with graduates?
Add your password to our customized pocket guides, planners or books. Alternatively, use our artwork for your own email or publication. You may not advertise your password in places accessible to the general public (i.e. general magazine or newspaper).
How much content is in the smartphone app?
We use "nuggets" of content in our smartphone app and planner. Our books go into much greater depth in every topic.
Can I try the app before I purchase it?
Yes.
Once available, we encourage you to give it a test drive first. Set up an account via your dashboard. It's free to test.
