Cap & Compass was founded in 2001 by two college graduates living in New York City. After four years in the working world, we recognized a gap between the subjects you learned in the classroom and the challenges we faced in real world.

We started by presenting seminars on college campuses on topics like health insurance, taxes, and dinner etiquette. After we figured out how to keep people entertained while explaining this stuff, we wrote the popular book, life after school. explained.

Since then, Cap & Compass has sold over 500,000 customized copies to institutions that understand the importance of connecting with their alumni, employees, and members.

In 2010, we launched crib sheet, our mobile app. This new product combines our popular content with a powerful communications tool.

Since the app reaches users of all ages, we've expanded our content to provide tips for everyone.
